Accounts is getting fun, especially when you get it : )
Hoping I'll do well, and not disappoint Mrs Siau and myself,
I've therefore set higher standards for myself! I can do it!

Anyway, Sheperd Sunday today.
By far, the best homily I've ever heard this whole year.
It touched me, and I really felt God talking to me. It just
made a whole lot of sense, especially since it's during this exam period.

I am the Good Sheperd, the good sheperd is one who lays down his life for his sheep. The image of Christ as our good Sheperd has always appealed to our human nature; it shows the manifestation of love which touches our innermost feelings. The guileless and foolish sheep that wanders, straying off into unknown dangers is likened to man who with his limited intellect thinks he knows all things and needs no further help from God, until he trips into a mire of problems, tumbling despondently into despair and misery.

It is fortunate that we have a loving Sheperd who understands us and constantly keeps watch over us, retrieving us to the safety of his fold. However, there are some who do not heed the Sheperd's call, either through no fault of their own or through their own fault do not hear his voice and do not learn about him or follow him.

Our Sherperd died on the cross for all men to be saved and he directly appeals to us to help him keep his sheep safe and secure within his fold... "these I will have to lead as well..." Evey christian is a missionary and living the Christian life in its entirety, is a powerful example, infulencing and leading others to the path of God.
